Russia to continue working with OPEC+ on supporting oil prices

MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- The OPEC+ alliance creates conditions for balancing the oil prices, and Russia will continue working in this format, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.

When asked about Russia’s reaction to Brazil’s decision to join OPEC+, Peskov said, “The organization continues its work, it makes a contribution … to stabilization of the energy markets and to creation of conditions for maintaining of the prices for main energy sources at a balanced level, which is important for everyone.”

“Russia will be interested in continuing its work in this format, and it is doing just so,” Peskov said.
